I would give it all to not be sleeping alone.

This photo was taken on daffy's mac photobooth like a week or two ago, when daffy was giving tuition to her tuition kid, and me and dulcy just sat on the floor, watching Big Bang Theory in the room. I know, it is awkward that we're interrupting her tuition, but it is cool!

Honestly, this photo gave me a scare. Haha! I know how many people think that we look super alike and all, and I disagree with people saying no we don't really and all sorts of nonsense on how we look totally different, or how we do not feel each other pain when someone whacks one of us physically, or the different face shapes we have, or even to the most detailed points on our face - the moles.

But in this photo, I shocked myself. I thought I was dulcy, and dulcy was me! Well, the first time I looked at it I guess. But I burst out laughing and started sharing this fascinating (well to me) photo to my brother and mother. Well, as usual, the more I look at it, the less I think I look like dulcy. But then again, this fascinates me! :D

I'd cross the world for someone like you.

All my life, my room has been a pretty big room. Or rather, I shall rephrase "re-sentence/re-structure" that sentence. All our lives, our room has been a pretty big room. Yes, we have been sharing a room all the time! And obviously, putting three beds into a room is not joke. But since our both parents are engineers, they always found a way of fixing up the room such that even a small room looks huge and spacious. Honestly, they are awesome engineers. :)

I don't really have photos of our previous two room concepts/layouts, or even the current one. But honestly, if you take a look at our room, you will be freaking amazed, and I am proud to call it our room! Hanging beds from the ceiling and no-legs-with-swinging-extension-tables. It is going to be pretty weird, that once we enter university, we will be having our own single rooms!

But nevertheless, I am pretty amazed by these two room concepts that I have seen on the internet. Well, by internet, I mean tumblr. Haha! It is really nice! :) Have a look. All three-bedder rooms! :)

I always want the top bed. :)

Flea as vendors!

We are crazy over fleas, since we started blogging because fleas have the cheapest things ever! Everything is on clearance sales, and everything is cheap! But this time, we turned things around - we were the vendors! We had our first flea market yesterday, Sunday at Scape park from 2pm to 8pm! Yes, we decided to sell some of our clothes, because we can't bring them to Scotland either. It is too cold up there! Pretty sad, I am going to miss all my summer dresses.

But back to the flea! We took one day to clear up our wardrobe and decide what we would want to sell! Our wardrobes are pretty empty now, which is quite sad. The whole room was in a big mess, no joke. So daffy was appointed to do the hanging of price tags, dul was appointed to hang the clothes, and I was appointed to write the price tag! Yes, division of labour applies in this family. :D

My little niece who entered my room and saw the shoes. She just put them on and started walking around.

All tidied up! We were pretty much looking forward to this day and was excited! So after our weekly Sunday morning marketing at Chinatown, we packed everything and headed down to Scape around 1pm plus! Thank goodness we had the big car at home to use to transport everything down! :)

How the back of the car looks like. Hahahaha.

Dulcy, our driver there! :)
Our supporter, Brina aka dulcy's boyfriend! :)

My rice krispies box that I used for these signs! :(

Thank goodness for a guy like Brina! Strong guys here is an advantage to us! :)
daffy with the luggage! :)

Setting up the store! Super warm!

My pink penguin, our only source of wind there!

So we spent like 7 hours at Scape, that humid place. We literally perspire for 7 hours there. It was an experience I guess! Thank goodness we had friends there who set up their own stores also, so we hopped to each other stall, caught up a little and all! Dulcy and Brina were our logistics/welfare people! :D They bought food and drinks for us - 2 bottles of mineral water, a box of honey stars and 2 bottles of pringles! They got french fries later! Daffy was the one who kept organizing the clothes each time some one looks through the clothes and messes them up! Well I was the one promoting the stall.

So this was my standard phrase that I repeated for 6 hours. "Hello, everything in the luggage is $5. If you buy 3, it'll be $12 only. All the pairs of shoes are at $10. And everything at our stall is below $20. So please have a look through the rack and everything. Thank you." It was a really long promotion that I had to keep doing, and hardly anyone stopped to look anyway. I think we are the horrible stall promoters. Haha! We kept pushing clothes to them, asking them if they think it looks good on them! Hahaha!

So we didn't sell much clothes, and mostly our customers were all from the Philippines. I can't believe one of them did the China method on me - the walking away if you don't meet my bargain price. What a bitch. & hardly only one bought things that are above $15. Sigh. It is pretty disappointing, but I guess it is okay!

Packing up!

Drove home and we were seriously pretty exhausted from everything! But I guess it was quite an experience! Not sure if we're going to do another to try to clear again, but honestly it is not cheap renting the stall and trying to break even is really hard. :(

So that was our experience with Fleas! :D

Nineteen birthday.

Hello! We have all officially turned 19 on the 6th August! Our as year for being a teen. :( Time really has passed too fast, and suddenly we are all grown ups! It's a scary world out there.

So anyhow, we really didn't do much because my grandfather wanted to celebrate his 80th birthday (8th August) on our birthday. So everyone is pretty busy with his birthday dinner. The night before our birthdays, we had training at Kallang Netball Centre (KNC) as usual. And my boyfriend was there, together with Dulcena's. And Dulcena's boyfriend, Brian, bought us a customized birthday cake. I swear it is the cutest birthday cake ever.

Netball birthday cake!

Representing me, because I play GD.
Desiree as C.
And Dulcena as WD!
How cute can this cake get right? Plus it's orange, which I think he did it deliberately because we recently just joined Extremes. The boobs of the little people are damn big right? I bet he said to the cake maker "Make it a C cup" to flatter us. Aw, Brian!

Birthday girls with birthday cake! See how the orange matches so well! :)
Birthday song.
Trust me, it's not easy to cut a cake when 3 hands from 3 different people are on one single plastic knife.
Which make me resort to scolding Dulcena, which I felt that her hand is constantly shaking. Rah
Whenever we share birthday cakes, Dulcena is the one that always gets to blow all the candles. Only because she's a little sneaky person that blows the candles off immediately after the birthday song. We didn't even get to make a birthday wish! What an ass, right?

Joel and I :)
Brian and Dulcena

Netballers from team One or Wan, whichever it is. :D

Photos with Extreme netballers! :) Many of them left already, so.. :(

Again, many thanks to everyone who wished us and gotten us cakes! :) All of you are AMAZING!

6th August! The real day, there was a street netball carnival in which we wanted to join, but couldn't, called Netballuxion! :) Extremes sent in two teams, and we decided to just spend about an hour or so to visit then and encourage them. So we headed down to Velocity.

Met our junior from SKSS, who was also playing Netballuxion! :)
We just had dinner at this restaurant at NTU. The food wasn't very good. But at least my grandfather had a ball of time there with all his basketball friends and with the karaoke blasting into our ears by drunkards and some overpaid $600 Elvis Presley impersonator for 20minutes. Photo spam!

Handmade by Aunty Hazel. This cake is amazingly sweet. Only sweet tooth lovers like me would love it. :)
So sweet right! :) His friends were all shouted "French kiss! French kiss!" in Chinese. I don't think I want to see that.
Family and relatives! :)
That's all folks! We'll be joining a flea this Sunday at Scape! So do come down and support us. Thanks! :)
